Why the Cross Had to Happen

A holy God cannot ignore sin.
A loving God cannot ignore sinners.
Both truths seem to pull in opposite directions—until the cross.
The bible says,
And Isaiah prophesies,
At the cross, holiness wasn’t set aside.
It was satisfied.
Love wasn’t compromised.
It was expressed.
God punished sin—but the punishment fell on the sinless One.
God saved sinners—but the salvation came through blood.
This is why the cross is not sentimental.
It is the precise point where justice and mercy meet.
At the cross, God never chose between holiness and love—He kept both.
