A holy God cannot ignore sin.
A loving God cannot ignore sinners.

Both truths seem to pull in opposite directions—until the cross.

The bible says, “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us” (2 Corinthians 5:21).
And Isaiah prophesies, “He was wounded for our transgressions… and by His stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).

At the cross, holiness wasn’t set aside.
It was satisfied.
Love wasn’t compromised.
It was expressed.

God punished sin—but the punishment fell on the sinless One.
God saved sinners—but the salvation came through blood.

This is why the cross is not sentimental.
It is the precise meeting point where justice and mercy embrace.

At the cross, God never chose between holiness and love—He kept both.
