Everything that can be shaken will be shaken.

We live in a world where systems, economies, and man-made religions are trembling. The Bible says that God will shake the earth and the heavens so that "the things which cannot be shaken may remain."

What is the only thing that remains? The Kingdom of Grace.

So how do we survive the shaking?

“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace...” Hebrews 12:28

In Greek, the phrase "let us have" is active. It means "let us possess, let us hold fast to."

It isn't a passive waiting. It is an active seizing. When you wake up in the morning, grab hold of grace. When you face a demand you cannot meet, receive the supply. When the world shakes, stand on the unmerited favor of God.

Serving God with reverence and godly fear doesn't come from trying harder. It comes from having grace.

The only stable ground is the ground of Grace.
