I am Vincent Emmanuel Lee. I run vincents.page and the Bible Character Quiz at quiz.vincents.page from Singapore as a personal ministry. This page explains what personal data these sites collect, why I collect it, and what you can do about it. I handle your data with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) in mind.
What I collect
Daily devotional sign-up. When you subscribe, I store your email address, the language of the page you signed up on, which form you used, the date, and a random code for your unsubscribe link. The language decides which version of the devotional you receive.
Contact form. The Connect page asks for your name, your email address, a title and your message. I use your email address only to reply to you.
Bible Character Quiz. The quiz has no account and no sign-up, and it does not send your answers anywhere. Your browser saves your progress and your result on your own device for up to 30 days after you last use it, so you can come back to it.
Reading and searching. When you open a post, the site adds one to that post’s view count. The count says nothing about who you are. It powers the Popular posts list. Searches go to the site to find matching posts, and the site’s code does not save them.
Technical data. Like most websites, the servers may record basic details of each request, such as your IP address, your browser type and the page you asked for. To block floods of requests, the site also holds IP addresses in memory for a short time.
Why I use it
I use your email address to send you the daily devotional in your language. I use contact messages to read and answer them. I use technical data to keep the site working and safe. I do not sell your data, and I do not use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
The site, its database and my email server run on a server I rent from OVHcloud.
Devotional emails go out from my own email server. If your address is with Hotmail, Outlook, Live or MSN, the email is delivered through Brevo, an email delivery service.
Contact form messages pass through Cloudflare to an automation tool I run (n8n), which sends them to my WhatsApp. WhatsApp is run by Meta.
The WhatsApp, Facebook and X share buttons are plain links. Nothing loads from those companies until you click one. After you click, their own privacy policies apply.
Some of these services may store data outside Singapore. I use them only for the purposes on this page.
Cookies and tracking
The public pages of vincents.page set no cookies. There are no analytics tools, no advertising trackers and no tag managers. The fonts are served from this site. The only cookie is the sign-in cookie for the site’s admin area, which readers never use. The quiz uses your browser’s local storage, as described above, and no cookies.
Your choices
By subscribing or sending a message, you agree to my use of your data as this page describes. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
Every devotional email has an unsubscribe link, and Gmail and Yahoo may also show an unsubscribe button next to the sender. After you unsubscribe, I stop sending the devotional. Your record stays, marked as unsubscribed, so signing up again is easy. If you want it deleted completely, email me.
You can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to hello@vincents.page and I will reply as soon as I can.
How long I keep it
Subscriber records stay until you ask me to delete them. Contact messages stay in my WhatsApp and in the automation tool’s history. I have no fixed schedule for deleting them, so ask me if you want yours removed. Quiz progress stays on your device and expires after 30 days.
Keeping it safe
The subscriber list cannot be read from the public website. Reading it needs an admin login. Every page is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
Changes and contact
If the way I handle data changes, I will update this page and the date at the top. For any question or request about your data, write to hello@vincents.page.
