The Bible illustrates the concept of supply through the function of fruit trees. A large tree originates from a single seed that contains the entire genetic makeup of that plant. For the tree to exist, the seed must be planted in the ground.

“While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest... shall not cease.” Genesis 8:22

God does not take away resources; He provides them through propagation. When a person gives or plants a "seed," the resulting harvest is significantly larger than the initial contribution. This is a fixed law of nature that mirrors spiritual provision.

If there is no planting of the seed, there is no harvest to enjoy. By learning to give, a person initiates a process that brings more resources into their life. This principle is observable in the abundance of fruit found globally.

Provision begins with the act of planting rather than the act of waiting.
