The Manufacturer’s Handbook
There is a book you can hold in your hand that acts as the manufacturer’s handbook for your life.
It holds the answers, but it also holds something far more potent: Life.
The Bible says that all Scripture is "inspired of God." In Greek, this is one specific word: (Theopneustos) θεόπνευστος: "God-breathed."
Just as God breathed into Adam and he became a living soul, His Word carries that same life.
When you read it, you aren't just processing information. You receive the life of God. Proverbs 4 says that these words are "life to those that find them and health to all their flesh."
Keep a physical notebook or a note app, and write down what you learn. Don't just rely on commentaries or digital devotionals. When you journal what the Lord shows you, you document how He spoke directly to your situation.
Years later, when you face a trial, you will value those notes far more than any generic commentary.
Don't just read the book. Receive the life in it.
