A wildfire once raced toward a group of settlers.
They couldn’t outrun it.
Then one man shouted, “Burn the ground!”
They lit a controlled fire behind them, stepped onto the charred earth, and waited.

When the real fire came, it had nothing left to burn.

That’s the cross.

Judgment burned there.
Wrath fell there.
Sin was punished there.

And now you stand where judgment already happened.

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1)

The fire can’t burn the same ground twice.

Whenever the enemy tries to tell you “God will judge you,”
look down. 👇
You’re standing on burned ground.
