There is a misconception that God is only interested in our spiritual maintenance—our prayer life, our church attendance, our moral standing. We tend to separate "godliness" from real life.

But God does not categorize your life into "spiritual" and "secular." He is interested in the whole person.

“...as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue...” 2 Peter 1:3

He has given us all things that pertain to life.

This includes your physical health. It includes your provision. It includes your family dynamics and your safety. If it pertains to living, God’s power has already provided for it.

Notice the connection again: these things come through the knowledge of Him.

When we limit God to "godliness" alone, we miss the vastness of His care. He didn't just save your soul; He secured your life. The same supply that helps you pray is available to help you pay the bills or heal your body.

Don't settle for a partial gospel that leaves the practical parts of your life untouched.
