We often try to behave our way into transformation through stricter habits and stronger willpower.

But Jesus gives a simpler picture:

“He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit.”
John 15:5

Fruit is not the result of trying harder. It comes from staying connected to the vine.

The Greek word for abide, (menō) μένω ("remain, stay, dwell"), carries no sense of striving. It means presence and relationship.

When your heart rests in grace, you begin living from a different center. Old reactions soften, and new desires awaken without force.

Right believing is not a slogan. It means recognizing that you are forgiven and made righteous in Christ every day. That kind of believing always produces fruit.

Fruit grows best when you stop trying to be the tree and simply stay rooted to it.
