Your Standing With God Doesn’t Rise and Fall With Your Emotions

Emotions change.
God doesn’t.
Some days you feel close.
Some days you feel far.
But the truth remains the same:
“Having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Romans 5:1
Peace — εἰρήνη — “a settled state, not a temporary feeling.”
Peace with God is not “peaceful feelings.”
It is a legal standing secured by Christ.
Your emotions may swing.
Your conscience may accuse.
Your circumstances may shake.
But your standing stays.
Jesus said,
“My sheep hear My voice… and no one will snatch them out of My hand.”
John 10:27–28
Your grip is weak, yes.
His grip is not.
Feelings are real, but they are not your foundation.
Faith rests on what God says, not what your emotions say.
