Your Heart Needs a Rhythm, Not a Crisis Plan

Most of us treat the Bible like emergency medication.
A dose when we’re stressed.
A verse when life gets heavy.
But Scripture wasn’t given for crisis only.
It was designed for rhythm.
Read, meditate, study, wash.
Each one plays a different role.
Some days you read broadly, like rinsing dust off your heart.
Some days you slow down, pen in hand, and let one sentence search you.
Some days you study, tracing threads you’ve never noticed before.
The point isn’t mastering the Bible.
It’s letting the Bible steady you.
“Give attention to My words… keep them in the midst of your heart.”
Proverbs 4:20–21
Attention takes time, and time builds roots.
Random bursts don’t create trees.
A steady heart comes from the Word.
