Sometimes a believer might think in their minds:
“Good week = God is pleased.
Bad week = God is distant.”

But the bible shows us:

“God demonstrates His love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8

If His love began before you performed,
it will not be sustained by your performance.

Jesus tells a story of a father who ran to a returning son before the son could apologize (Luke 15:20–22).
Not after repentance.
Before it.

Your performance never created God’s love.
Your struggles cannot cancel it.

You don’t live for His approval.
You live from it.

Relationship grows when you stop treating God like a boss and start trusting Him like a Father.
