The Real Reason You’re Irritated

Irritation rarely begins with the person standing in front of you.
It often begins with the worry sitting inside you.
Unspoken pressure turns small things into sharp things.
A misunderstood tone becomes an argument.
A passing comment becomes a wound.
The Bible puts it like this:
“Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down…”
Proverbs 12:25
When your heart carries weight, your words carry edge.
Not because you’re unkind — but because you’re overwhelmed.
Worry doesn’t stay in the mind.
It leaks into the home.
It spills into conversations.
It shapes the atmosphere long before anyone names it.
But Jesus offers the opposite path:
“Cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”
1 Peter 5:7
When the weight goes to Him, the peace returns to you.
