If a child has cancer, a parent doesn’t hate the child — they hate the disease ravaging the child.

That’s how God views sin.

“Sin brings forth death.” (James 1:15)

He hates what steals your peace, your wholeness, your future.
He hates what breaks you.
Because He loves you.

That’s why He couldn’t sweep sin under a carpet.
A righteous judge cannot wink at destruction.

So instead of ignoring sin…
He absorbed it.
He judged it.
He ended it — but at the body of His Son, Jesus Christ, not yours.

God’s wrath never lands on the child He loves — it lands on the cancer that harms them.
