The Firstborn Blessing

We often look for physical provision—money, food, resources.
But the Bible teaches that true supply starts in the spiritual realm.
When Isaac blessed Jacob (thinking he was the firstborn, Esau), he proclaimed:
Esau was a hunter; he already had physical grain and wine. So what was this blessing?
It was the spiritual substance of these things.
God’s supply is described as "grain, wine, and oil." -
- Grain and Wine point to the Communion—the body and blood of Jesus.
- Oil points to the Holy Spirit.
This is the "Firstborn Blessing." It is the inheritance of those who are in Christ. When you have the spiritual reality (the dew of heaven), the physical reality (the fatness of the earth) follows.
You don't have to strive. As you rest in His spiritual fullness, watch how He faithfully adds the physical fruitfulness to your life.
