The Difference Between Toil and Supply

The world operates on a system of "first place" and "faster is better." It tells you that if you do not rush, you will lose your opportunity. It teaches you to look out for yourself because no one else will. This is the spirit of the world. It is built on laborious toil and stress.
But there is a different system available. The Bible says we have received the Spirit of God so that we might know the things freely given to us. You do not have to chase what God has already decided to supply.
When you rely on your own fleshly effort, it leads to exhaustion. When you rely on His grace, you find profit and peace. God is a teacher who shows you how to profit. He leads you in paths of pleasantness. You do not need to outrun others when God is the one who opens the doors.
Effort is a finite resource, but positioned rest allows for an infinite supply.
