The world provides an endless stream of "gory" content. We see it in the news, in scandals, and in the dramas that fill our screens. Social media creates an environment where everyone else's life appears perfect, leaving you in a place of comparison and depression.

When you occupy your mind with the negative, you begin to reflect it. You become what you behold.

“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:18

Transformation does not happen by studying the enemy or the obstacle. It happens by beholding the glory of the Lord found in His Word. If you spend your time on gossip or the "brown spots" of other people's lives, you lose your own peace. Your life is too important to be a slave to the digital agenda.

Time is fleeting. Do not spend it looking at the "gory" when you could be transformed by the "glory".

You choose the mirror you look into every morning.
