Righteousness doesn’t grow on you slowly.
It was placed on you instantly the moment you believed.

Paul writes,
“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
2 Corinthians 5:21

Become — not “become over time.”
Become — not “become if you perform.”

Isaiah spoke of it long ago:
“He has clothed me with the garments of salvation,
He has covered me with the robe of righteousness.”

Isaiah 61:10

You don’t sew this robe.
You receive it.

You don’t maintain it through performance.
You enjoy it through faith.

Righteousness isn’t a reward.
It’s your position.

And when you live from this identity, your behavior begins to match what you already are.

You live differently when you stop trying to earn what you already wear.
