Living as a Faithful Witness in Babylon

Believers live in a world system that rejects God's standards. This condition is not new. Israel lived in Babylonian captivity for seventy years under a hostile cultural order.
Through the prophet Jeremiah, God gave specific instructions for living inside an ungodly culture. He did not tell His people to retreat into mountain caves or abandon normal life.
God wants His people insulated from worldly corruption, not isolated from human society. Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego lived inside the Babylonian court. They learned the language and served in government, yet they refused to compromise their conviction.
You can build a stable home and raise godly children in a secular world. You can run an honest business in that same culture. Your distinction comes from internal conviction, not physical withdrawal.
Faithfulness in Babylon requires distinct convictions inside everyday society.
