Honoring the Body as God's Temple

The enemy targets human beings with isolation and self-destruction. In Mark chapter five, Scripture describes a man living among tombs in the region of the Gadarenes.
Notice three characteristics of his condition: he was isolated, he was stripped of dignity, and he was physically harming his own body. When a person separates from the corporate body of Christ, vulnerability to deception increases.
Your physical body is valuable to God. The apostle Paul clarifies that the physical frame of a believer is a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit.
God takes responsibility for maintaining His temple. When you honor your body by avoiding self-destructive habits and staying in fellowship, divine health and rest follow.
Honoring your physical body as God's temple produces lasting health and stability.
