Christ died for us while we were still sinners, before we cared about God.

God didn’t wait for you to improve.
He didn’t even wait for you to notice.

Paul says:

“While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8

Not after repentance.
Not after good behavior.

Before you prayed, He acted.
Before you cared, He reached for you.

God didn’t love a future, improved version of you.
He loved the real you: the one who wasn’t looking His direction at all.

Grace starts where your effort ends.
It always has.

God didn’t wait for your love to save you.
