We all have ways we prefer to be loved. God told us how He wants to be remembered.

Jesus didn’t say, "Build monuments in remembrance of Me." He said:

"Do this in remembrance of Me."
Luke 22:19

He was speaking of Communion, the bread and the cup.

When we partake of Communion, we speak God’s love language. We honor the sacrifice of His Son in the exact way He requested.

It is a simple act, but it carries great weight in heaven. It brings the blessing of grain and wine and connects the finished work of the cross to our daily lives.

Don’t neglect it because it feels routine. Do it because it delights the Father. When you honor Him by remembering Jesus, He honors you with His presence.

Communion is how we tell God we haven’t forgotten.
