God Measures Fruitfulness From the Inside Out

We often judge a ministry by what we can see—size, activity, visibility.
But Scripture tells us that outward appearance never tells the whole story.
When Samuel looked at Eliab, he was impressed.
God wasn’t.
1 Samuel 16:7
God begins His evaluation at the root, not the branches.
But here’s the truth Scripture also gives us:
When the root is healthy, the branches will bear fruit.
Jesus said:
John 15:8
And in the early church:
Acts 2:47
Fruitfulness isn’t measured only by numbers, but it is never absent where the gospel is alive.
Growth—spiritual, relational, missional, and often numerical—is the natural outcome of preaching Christ with clarity and grace.
So we don’t assess a church by whether it is big or small at a moment in time.
We assess it by whether the message is pure, the root is anchored, and the fruit is increasing.
Because in God’s Kingdom, healthy roots always lead to growing fruit.
