Fresh Bread for a Fresh Day

The Bible describes God’s Word like manna.
Fresh, daily, specific.
When Israel tried to store yesterday’s manna,
it spoiled.
And Jesus echoed that principle when He taught us to pray:
“Give us this day our daily bread.”
Matthew 6:11
Not weekly.
Not occasionally.
Daily.
Revelation works the same way.
What fed you last month can inspire you today,
but it can’t nourish you.
You can remember it, appreciate it, quote it—
but you can’t live on it.
God gives fresh words for fresh seasons.
Strength for today, not for nostalgia.
Grace for this moment, not last year’s.
Yesterday’s insight was real.
It blessed you.
But it wasn’t meant to be your diet.
Your heart needs daily bread, not stored manna.
