There is a pervasive myth that the Christian life is supposed to be hard.

We equate struggle with holiness. We think if we aren't grinding, suffering, or white-knuckling our way through life, we aren't doing it right. We carry burdens that are heavy, assuming God put them there to test our strength.

But Jesus said something radically different:

"My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
Matthew 11:30

Easy. Light.

If your walk with God feels heavy, complicated, and exhausting, you might be carrying a yoke He didn't design for you. The way of the transgressor is hard (Proverbs 13:15), but the way of Grace is designed to fit you perfectly.

Try treating your trust in God almost like a game this week. When a worry comes, tag it and say, "Not mine." When a heavy responsibility lands on your shoulders that you can't solve, hand it over and say, "Yours."

It sounds irreverent, but it is actually the highest form of reverence. It is acknowledging that He is God and you are not.

If it's heavy, it's not from Him.
