Most people think the curse comes from breaking the Law.
Scripture says it comes simply from standing on Law ground.

Paul writes,
“Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.”
Galatians 3:10

Not “everyone who breaks it.”
Not “everyone who tries but fails.”
Everyone who chooses the Law as their basis for blessing — even for a moment.

The Law has no middle ground.
No sliding scale.
No “God knows my heart.”

Grace, on the other hand, rests entirely on Christ’s perfection, not yours:
“The just shall live by faith.”
Galatians 3:11

It’s why Paul contrasts two lifestyles:

  • Live by performing everything → curse.

  • Live by believing you’re righteous in Christ → blessing.

The issue was never how well you perform.
The issue is whose performance you trust.
