Sometimes you look at someone living in open sin and think:
“They look happy. Nothing seems to happen to them.”

Let me explain what really happens.

Solomon wrote,
“The way of the transgressor is hard.”
Proverbs 13:15

It might look smooth on the outside — but not on the inside.

For the believer, God disciplines out of love (Hebrews 12:6).
For the unbeliever, consequences eventually surface.

Jacob deceived his father (Genesis 27).
Years later, deception returned to him through his sons (Genesis 37).
Not cruelty — correction.

Those who reject God’s ways are not living freely; they are living in borrowed time.

The believer, on the other hand, may struggle — but the Father’s hand is guiding, shaping, and redeeming.

Never envy rebellion.
God’s path might seems harder but it leads to true peace and everything we need.

What looks like freedom outside of God always costs more than it promises.
