God is all-powerful and all-knowing. But as God, He had never experienced hunger, physical exhaustion, or the pain of human betrayal from a human perspective.

So, He became a man.

Jesus felt the weight of physical limitations. He knew what it was like to be tired, thirsty, and rejected by His closest friends. He lived within the boundaries of human flesh.

"For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin."Hebrews 4:15 (NKJV)

Because He suffered these things, He is qualified to represent you. When you tell Him you are hurting, He does not just listen with pity. He understands from His own experience as a man.

Jesus does not just look down on your pain; He looks back at it from His own memory.
