Why You Can’t Fake Fruit

Fruit cannot be imitated. It grows from believing the gospel.
You can imitate someone’s actions.
You cannot imitate their fruit.
Fruit isn’t copied — it’s cultivated through life.
Jesus described it this way:
John 15:5
Abiding produces fruit.
Imitating produces exhaustion.
You can mirror someone’s habits, tone, or behavior for a season,
but true transformation comes only from the inside —
from believing the gospel so deeply that Christ’s life begins to express itself in yours.
Fruit is evidence of connection, not effort.
The world knows how to perform.
Only the gospel knows how to transform.
You can fake behavior for a moment; you can’t fake fruit for a lifetime.
