The Difference Between Seeing and Understanding

Even unbelievers can have visions, but only godly wisdom interprets.
Pharaoh dreamed.
Nebuchadnezzar dreamed.
Balaam saw visions.
But none of them understood what they saw.
Scripture shows it again and again:
Deuteronomy 29:29
Seeing something is not the same as understanding it.
Revelation without wisdom becomes confusion.
The world can experience spiritual moments.
It can sense destiny, hunger for meaning, and feel supernatural nudges — but without God’s wisdom, the pieces don’t connect.
Joseph told Pharaoh plainly:
Genesis 41:16
Interpretation is not a human skill.
It’s a divine partnership.
This is why believers can walk into situations others don’t understand and suddenly see clarity — not because we are smarter, but because God gives meaning where others see mystery.
Anyone can dream. Only God can explain.
