When Jesus corrected His disciples, He didn’t say,
“Why didn’t you pray longer?”
or
“Why didn’t you try harder?”

He said:

“O you of little faith.”
Matthew 6:30

Not as a rebuke—more like a sigh of love:
“You’re taking so little from Me… when I have so much for you.”

Faith isn’t trying to impress God.
Faith is trusting that God means every word He says.

James explains the gap many believers feel:

“You have not because you ask not.”
James 4:2

The problem isn’t that God withholds;
it’s that we hesitate to receive.

When we fixate on what we don’t have, faith shrinks.
When we look at what God freely gives, faith expands almost effortlessly.

Jesus points at lilies clothed without striving and sparrows fed without worry — not to shame us, but to shift our eyes.

“Look at the birds of the air…”
Matthew 6:26

He’s saying,
“If this is how the Father treats the smallest, how will He treat His children?”

Faith arises when it remembers how good God is.
Faith arises when it stops monitoring lack and starts beholding abundance.

You don’t manufacture faith.
You simply see differently.

Faith grows in the revelation of a generous God, not a demanding one.
