The Sound of the New Covenant

Blood has a voice.
In the first murder in history, Cain killed Abel. It was a religious murder—one brother trying to approach God through performance (his own crops) killing the brother who approached God through the blood of a lamb.
After the murder, God said, "The voice of your brother's blood cries out to Me from the ground." Abel’s blood cried for vengeance. It cried for justice against the sinner.
But we have come to a different blood.
Jesus' blood does not cry for vengeance. It speaks "better things." It speaks forgiveness. It speaks restoration. It speaks wholeness, health, and mercy.
When you fail, do not listen to the voice of accusation. Listen to the voice of the Blood. The Bible warns us: "See that you do not refuse Him who speaks."
To reject the voice of grace is the most dangerous thing you can do.
Justice demands payment; the Blood declares it paid.
