When Sin Meets Grace

Paul used a word so overflowing that translators struggle to contain it:
ὑπερπερισσεύω — “huperperisseuō,”
meaning “to overflow beyond overflow.”
He writes:
“Where sin increased, grace super-abounded.”
Romans 5:20
Not “grace matched it.”
Not “grace balanced it.”
Grace overshadowed it.
This is God’s design—not a loophole, not an excuse, but a declaration of His nature.
He refuses to let sin have the final word.
When sin leaves a mark,
grace leaves a miracle.
When sin creates loss,
grace creates overflow.
When sin writes a painful chapter,
grace writes a better ending.
The enemy wants you to fear that your mistakes can shrink God’s goodness.
But grace doesn’t shrink;
grace expands.
Sin may start the story, but grace always finishes it to the better good.
