Some people make hearing God complicated.
Five steps.
Inner traffic signals.

Jesus says:

“My sheep hear My voice.” (John 10:27 , NKJV)

A child doesn’t study the mother’s voice.
They recognize it because they belong.

You don’t hear God because you’re mature.
You hear Him because you’re His.

When the voice inside encourages you and leads you toward hope rather than shame, that aligns with the Spirit’s work:

“He will give you another Helper…” (John 14:16)
“The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit…” (Romans 8:16)

The inner witness isn’t dramatic.
It’s familiar.
Steady and clear.
Not pushy or manipulative.

And when something scratches inside (that unsettled feeling), pay attention.
The Spirit also guards.

God’s voice is not a mystery to solve but more of a presence you already know.
