Many believers pray with a fear in their heart—
“What if I’m still far from God?”

The Bible says there is none:

“But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.”
Ephesians 2:13

The Greek word for near is (engys) ἐγγύς — “drawn close, in immediate proximity.”

Prayer doesn't create intimacy.
The cross did that.

Prayer is what intimacy sounds like.
Worship is what intimacy feels like.
Obedience is what intimacy produces.

You don’t pray to climb toward God.
You pray because He already placed you beside Him.

Prayer is not a path to God—it’s what happens when you discover you’re already home.
