Spiritual growth is not becoming stronger in yourself.
It’s becoming more confident in Christ.

Paul puts it beautifully:

“When I am weak, then I am strong.”
2 Corinthians 12:10

Growth doesn’t feel like rising.
It often feels like sinking —
sinking deeper into dependence,
deeper into grace,
deeper into the reality that Christ is your righteousness, not your effort.

Salvation began with His strength,
and it continues with His strength.

“He is able to save to the uttermost.”
Hebrews 7:25

As you grow,
you don’t notice your power increasing —
you notice your self-reliance decreasing.

You stop trusting your goodness
and start resting in His.

You stop striving to be impressive
and begin leaning into the One who already finished the work.

True growth isn’t becoming stronger; it’s needing Christ more.
