Before grace, sin feels normal.
After grace, sin feels heavy.

That tension isn’t hypocrisy.
It’s transformation.

Many believers aren’t haunted by who they were before salvation.
They’re troubled by what still surfaces after.

Scripture names this conflict clearly:

“For what I will to do, that I do not practice.” Romans 7:15

This struggle doesn’t mean faith is failing.
It means life has begun.

Dead hearts don’t wrestle.
Living hearts do.

Conviction isn’t condemnation.
It’s sensitivity.

The Spirit doesn’t expose sin to shame you.
He exposes it because you belong to Him.

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness.” Matthew 5:6

If you care, it’s because something new is alive.

The discomfort you feel may not be failure—it may be evidence of growth.
